How will I know if the tutor is a right fit?

All prospective students are offered a 1-hour free trial lesson so there is no obligation to continue lessons if the fit is not right for you.
The purpose of the free trial lesson is to identify areas of your child’s English skillset that require nurturing and development. During this lesson, we will discuss an action plan for tuition going forward.

How many English lessons will my child need to make progress?

This entirely depends. English is a skills-based subject so a number of lessons may be needed for new skills to be solidified. Weekly lessons are advised.

Where do lessons take place?

All lessons take place via Zoom. Each student is also given their own Google Classroom where resources can be easily shared. Parents have full access to the classroom too so they can have an insight into all learning.

How do I check my child’s progress?
You will have access to your child’s Google Classroom, so you can monitor and track their progress via the tutor feedback. You can also arrange to speak to Melody on the phone to discuss your child’s progress in more detail.
Read our Guide to Setting Up Google Classroom here.

How do I pay for lessons?

You will receive an invoice after each lesson and you can pay easily and conveniently via Stripe.

What billing options do I have?
All of our billing is on a PAYL (pay as you learn) basis. There is no obligation to book block lessons, which makes lessons very flexible. You may cancel or reschedule a lesson up to 24 hours before the lesson is due to start.
See our Terms and Conditions here.

What days of the week are lessons available?

Lesson slots are available Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 7pm. Extra sessions are bookable during the exam season (March - June).
